Mr. Allen is an expert at AutoCad, as well as a wide variety of drafting and drawing programs. However, his skills are not tied to the computer or even the ground. He is also a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor. He has been the draftsman for Hatfield & Dawson since 1982.

Representative Projects

• Completed a sets of drawings (AutoCad) detailing the installation of an AM Radio ground system and the proper electrical shielding of buildings.
• Did extensive AutoCad work for Denver International Airport: created new drawings and edited/revised approximately 100 AutoCad drawings to show installation of two-way radio systems designed by Hatfield & Dawson.
• Prepared multiple sets of USGS Topographical maps for use in AM Field Strength Measurements.
• Completed The Essential Airplane, a book of drawings detailing the principles of flight as part of certified flight instructor training.
